In a world where communication is almost instantaneous and we can travel from one side of the planet to the other in less than a day, we\u2019ve had to learn to work and live fast. Stress and overwhelm are widespread, and many of us get lost in the busy-ness. Until one day, we wake up \u2013 no longer sure of our \u2018role\u2019 or \u2018purpose\u2019, and thirsting for a more enlightened way of living.<\/p>\n

Like so many people, in my thirties I found myself wondering why I was here. I felt that life should have more purpose and knew that I had a bigger role to play but couldn\u2019t quite work out what it was. At that time, I didn\u2019t fully understand my dilemma was due to the choices I\u2019d made \u2013 and, in particular, the result ignoring my heart and inner knowing. After 10 more years of searching, I realized that the only way to satisfy this yearning was to head off in search of my soul purpose. It was only then, when I stepped into my angel light, that I was able to understand my calling and respond.<\/p>\n

I know that I\u2019m not alone in experiencing this burning desire to fulfil a calling. We are at time in our human evolution, where having perhaps spurned organized religion and teaching, we are in need of spiritual nourishment. To experience the pure joy and peace that comes from connection to something bigger. Something more fulfilling. Each week in my workshops I meet others who feel drawn to step into their angel light. This may be due to experiencing a dark night of the soul brought about by life events or having been touched in some way by an awe-inspiring experience that has stirred a deep spiritual impulse within, and woken them up to seek a more fulfilling life inclusive of their spiritual path.<\/p>\n

So many of us are now finding ways to reconnect with our spiritual impulse. For some it was never lost but perhaps pushed aside side during challenging times, while others may have found their views overshadowed by those of a partner, friend or colleague, or turned away from the spiritual tradition of their upbringing. Sometimes it takes a while to find who we really are and reawaken that spiritual impulse, and Seven Steps Into Angel Light<\/em> will perhaps be the nudge you need to access your soul purpose, the quiet voice that whispers, \u2018Surely there is more to life than this.\u2019 In finding your light \u2013 your inner and outer radiance \u2013 you\u2019ll be able to live more purposefully, whether that\u2019s a work, at home or as part of a larger community.<\/p>\n

Each of the Seven Steps offers a way to connect with your deepest spiritual impulse. It will help you to re-establish or connect to the unique vibration of the Divine spark of Light within your heart at its purest, deepest level. That part of you which is brought alive and filled with awe and delight, wonder and amazement, at the sheer beauty and magnificence of our beautiful world; the powerful Divine part of self we know as our soul.<\/p>\n

Stepping into my angel light was fundamental to my path. I heard their call and have spent the last 20 years helping others step into the angel light and find more purpose. And now my hope is that this book will help you do the same.<\/p>\n

As with all spiritual work, there is no right or wrong way to meditate. Find a method which works for you. I recommend finding a quiet room where you won’t be disturbed, turn down the lights if possible and maybe light a candle or burn incense to help you relax. Each of these meditations is around 20 minutes, but you can continue to reflect after it ends. Take as long as you need.
